Interior and exterior pictures all look very clean. Not clear if and/or to what extent this has been restored. The paint, Michigan Yellow and Sunset Red wheels would be accurate for the year. 214,760 CJ-2A’s were produced from 1945-1949. Largely based on the military version during WWII, the civilian version has larger headlights and a 7-slotted grill versus the 9-slotted military version. Originally marketed towards ranching and farming, the Jeep could be equipped with a number of options icluding a belt pulley drive and rear hydraulic lifts, snow plows, welders, generators, and mower discs. The civilian version was equipped with the L-134 “Go-Devil” engine and an updated T-90 3-speed transmission. Check out seller’s listing on Craigslist for more details and contact information.
