Nearly 20,000 Jeepsters were produced from 1948-1950. After WWII, Willys produced the CJ (“civilian jeep”), a Jeep Wagon, Jeep Truck, and the Jeepster. The redesigned 1950 Jeepster is distinguished by its grill which has 5 horizontal chrome bars. Two engine options were available a 4-cylinder (VJ-473) and 6-cylinder (VJ-673). Poor sales due to lack of marketing and distribution led to the the discontinuing of the Jeepster in 1950. Approximately 19,000 were built during its 3-year production run.
