The E-Type or XKE was built by Jaguar from 1961-1975. The Series 1 was made until 1968 and in our option is the sharpest version. Equipped with a 4.2L inline-6 and 4-speed manual transmission, the XKE could reach a top speed of 150 mph, 283 ft-lb or torque, and produce a 0-60 in 6.4 seconds.
Drivers of the XKE report power, speed, and handling that surpass many of its counterparts. Wide diameter steering wheel, narrow tire contact, and a driving position that is almost on the rear axle is (i.e. 80% of the car in front of you) contribute to a unique driving experience. This 1967 Jaguar XKE is for sale in Independence, Missouri. Check out seller’s listing on Hemmings for full details and contact information.
