Released in 1966 and produced until 1977, the first generation Bronco was intended to compete with the Jeep CJ and International Scout. From 1966-1969 Ford used the 289 V8 and upgraded to the 302 in 1969. 1972 was the first year of the Dana 44 differential but one year before the introduction of optional power steering and automatic transmission. Disc brakes were not offered until 1976. Otherwise, the body style and basic options of the Bronco remained the same. This 1972 Ford Bronco is for sale in North Kansas City, Missouri.
