Seller offering a 1979 Chevrolet Blazer 2×4 with undisclosed miles for $4,000. Equipped with a 5.7-liter (350 cubic inch) 160-hp V8, this 2-wheel drive Blazer appears to be complete and uncut. Seller says it can be a daily driver but it’s not perfect. Transmission was rebuilt in August 2017, new starter in September 2018 and a new fan motor.
The K5 Blazer was introduced in 1969 and the 2nd generation debuted in 1973. The 2nd generation Blazer incorporated the rear hatch glass and tailgate into a single unit which allowed the rear window to retract via a manual crank. An electric version was also available. Nearly 100,000 Chevy Blazers were made in 1979. We’d be curious to see the break-down of 2-wheel drive versions with this color combination (which appears to coordinate with the interior trim as well).
