Seller offering a 1979 GMC Jimmy High Sierra with 142,000 miles for $15,000. We love seller’s pictures and location – who knew there are horses next to Kemper Arena? Seller says that it runs, drives, and stops smoothly. A number of major projects done including a rebuilt engine and transmission at 100,000 miles, rust repaired, undercoating applied to prevent future rust, two tone paint job, new interior panes and dash pad. Seller discloses that the vehicle could use some carpeting, a redo of the front seats, only one of the rear speakers works and some badges could be added.
The 2nd generation GMC Jimmy was introduced in 1973 and was the 1975 Four Wheeler magazine’s Four Wheeler of the Year. Like its Blazer counterpart, the Jimmy had a removable hard top with a builtin roller. The Jimmy came with several different engine options from a 350ci inline V6 to a 400ci V8. Also came with several axle options between 1977 and 1980. This 1979 GMC Jimmy High Sierra edition is for sale in Kansas City, Missouri.
