1991 Cadillac Allante soft top convertible for sale. Seller has owned the car for several years and purchased from the original owner. Designed to compete with the SL Mercedes and Jaguar XJS, the bodies were designed and manufactured by Carrozzaria Pininfarina and shipped to the US for final assembly via specially equipped Boeing 747s. Originally priced at $57,260, 2,500 Allantes were produced in 1991. This examples has 61k miles. Located in Leavenworth County, seller has listed the vehicle on Craigslist for $9,900.
The Allante was equipped with Cadillac’s 4.5L HT-4500 V8 and a 4-speed F-7 automatic transmission which produced 200 hp. With 0-60 time of 7.9 seconds and a top speed of 122 mph, think more cruiser than sports car. Convertible tops were a major issue and one question I would ask the seller is about the blue tarp in the backseat. Maybe just an extra layer of protection, tarps sometimes indicate problems with the top. Seller has both the original and after-market wheels/tires to go with the vehicle. Nice color combination with a white body and black leather interior. Pictures are a bit grainy but the seats do indicate some wear. Electronic gauges appear to be in good working condition.
