Seller offering this 1991 Chrysler Town & Country by Maserati with 16,679 miles for $12,500. This Arctic White over dark tan interior example has both a removable hard top and convertible. Although 1990 was the last year the Chrysler TC by Maserati was produced, the remaining models sold in 1991 were marked as 1991 model years. This example includes original manuals and service records.
The Town & Country was produced with several different engine variants during its 2 year production run – a 2.2 L turbocharged straight-4, a 3.0 L V6 sourced from Mitsubishi, and a 16-valve 2.2 L that was actually built by Maserati. Only 500 of the actual Maserati built engines were made.
The interior of the Town & Country was equipped with hand-stitched Italian leather – dash, seats, and armrest. The padded seats are reminiscent of the Maserati Bi-Turbo. We still can’t shake that it looks like a Chrysler LeBaron convertible. Although paired with a stylish interior, the performance of the Town & Country was lack luster. We still like clean examples of obscure vehicles like this one.
