Produced from 1991-1993, the GMC Typhoon was a high performance all wheel drive SUV that included a 4.3L turbo V6 that produced 280 hp, 0-60 in 5.3 seconds, a quarter mile in 14.1 seconds at 95 mph, and a top speed an est. 125 mph All three production years were manufactured for GMC by Production Automotive Services in Troy, Michigan. Production Automotive Services was a specialty vehicle manufacturer which worked closely with GMC and Pontiac between 1989 and 1994.
