Seller offering a 1993 Long Wheelbase Range Rover with undisclosed miles for $10,500. Previous owner purchased in CO where there the body and frame was literally rust free and interior in exceptional condition. Everything works properly including power windows, locks, and seats. Starting with a solid base, previous owner swapped with a 3.1-litre Isuzu turbo diesel engine and a manual transmission. .
In addition to the engine swap and manual transmission the previous owner installed a new injection pump, alternator, heater core, suspension and tires. Seller says A/C is ice cold. Previous owner disclosed a small fire under the hood involving the turbo that was resolved and said several thousand miles were put on the vehicle since. Also discloses that a new headliner is needed and to be “perfect” a repaint would take care of minor dents/dings on the roof and hood and some sunburn from living in CO.
Previous owner listed the vehicle on The Defender Source in November 2016 where seller purchased it. After owning the vehicle several years, seller says they are ready to move on to another vehicle. Only driven a handful of times since purchasing the vehicle, it sounds like the vehicle is ready for a new owner.
Probably more questions than answers on how the vehicle performs with the turbo diesel and manual transmission – we like the idea though. Previous owner says they averaged low 20’s for fuel economy and was able to pull a trailer. This 1992 Range Rover LWB is for sale in the Kansas City area.
