Seller offering a 21k mile Carrera GTS for $75,322. This black-on-black example looks clean. The red brake calipers contrast nicely. The 997 Porsche debuted in 1998 and was made through 2012. Probably one of the biggest changes in the 911 lineup, the 997 introduced a water cooled flat-six engine. The Carrera GTS is the middle-ground between the Carrera S and GT3. The GTS has a the wide-body treatment that was previously only seen on the GT3, all-wheel drive Carrera S, the 911 Turbo, and the GT2. The GTS includes the 3.8L flat 6 that’s included in the Carrera S but adds 23 hp due to some engineering enhancements (that’s over 400 hp for those of you that are counting). This example is black on black and has just over 21,000 miles.
In addition to more horse power, the GTS received the sport exhaust system that amplifies the flat-six and lets others know that a Porsche is passing them. The interior has some GT3 upgrades like lightweight synthetic suede trimming the interior (i.e. steering wheel, shift and brake levers, door handles, and center panels of the sports seats). The rear seat was also excluded to save weight but could be added back at no additional charge. Check out the sellers listing for full details and contact information.
