2017 represents the 2nd generation of R8 that began in 2015. Exclusively designed, developed, and manufactured by Audi AG’s private subsidiary, Audit Sport GmbH, the platform is based on teh Lamborghini Gallardo and present Huracan platform. In 2017 the R8 V10 came with two versions. The standard version produced 540 hp and 389 lb-ft of toque. The Plus, weighing 77 lbs less produced 610 hp, 413 lb-ft of torque, a 0-60 of 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 205 mph. The Plus represented the fastest road-going car Audi had ever produced.
