Seller offering a 1964 Citroen 2CV with a reported 22,053 miles for $12,500. While over 3.8 million 2CV’s were produced during its 40+ year production run, I think we are safe to assume very few have made their way to the Kansas City area. Seller says the vehicle has excellent tires, new rag top, everything works properly, and runs great. Seller also discloses that there is minor rust above the bumper and front right fender. Includes a trunk full of extra parts. Equipped with a 2-cylinder 602-cc engine, these were not meant to go fast.
Designed as a utilitarian vehicle for the masses these were not meant to be high design or high performance. Probably the sexiest feature is the panoramic roof that folds back. In 1964 two engine options were available – the 13.5 and 16.5 b.h.p. Chrome bumper covers and small wheel hub caps on the more powerful engine distinguish the two versions.
