Seller offering a mint 2003 Mercury Marauder with 23,367 miles for $21,900. Seller is the 2nd owner and says it has never been wrecked, painted, or smoked in. Includes complete dealer documentation which includes original Marauder floor mats that were always covered and only Ford Synthetic oil and filters have been used. Seller notes that the only non-stock items are the painted brake calipers and window shades.
The 2003-2004 Marauder represents the 3rd generation of the marque. Absent from the marketplace for 33 years, the Marauder utilized many parts from the Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor. The Maurader used a 4-valve version of the 4.6L V8 found in the Grand Marquis. The result was a the same 302-hp found in the Mustang Mach 1 and Lincoln Aviator.
Built to be a bit of a sleeper, the Marauder didn’t generate much of a buzz. The Maurader’s sales were lack-luster and only 11,052 were produced compared to the 179,723 Grand Marquis built during the same period. Maybe the $34,500 list price was too high?
