Seller offing a low mileage 1984 Pontiac Fiero SE with 42,000 miles for $4,350. Seller purchased this for his son but the manual transmission didn’t work out. Seller purchased the vehicle from the 2nd owner who only put 1,000 miles on it. This example is red (only offered red, white, black and light gray metallic in the first year) and has T-tops. Exterior looks sharp, cloth interior doesn’t appear to have any wear/tears, and the pop-up headlights are working. Time capsule to 1984 – Hall & Oates?
The Fiero was produced from 1984-1988. In 1984 three models were available with the SE being the top model (MSRP starting at $9,599). A total of over 136,000 Fieros were sold in 1984. Equipped with a fuel efficient 2.5L LR8 inline 4 and a four-speed manual transmission which produced an impressive 42 mpg highway/26 mpg city. While some may have expected better performance of the Fiero’s mid-engine design, it’s production numbers exceeded initial expectations. Later models included a larger V6. As you can see in the pictures, there wasn’t much room for anything larger. This 1984 Pontiac Fiero is for sale in Kansas City, Missouri.
