PERFECT 1973 Porsche 911s Targa – Kansas City, MO

Did we say perfect?  Seller offering a 1971 Porsche 911s Targa for $195,000 obo.   This desirable model was faithfully restored in its original  metallic silver over black interior.  Originally sold at Art Bunker Porsche of Kansas City in 1972, seller started with a local barn find.  Intended to be a limited restoration, it’s clear the seller took this to a 10/10.


1973 represents the final production year of the “long hood” 911.  8-years of refinement on and off the track resulted in a great touring vehicle and sports car.


Original Fuch wheels have been restored and new tires install, including the spare.   The ride height has been set to Euro specs.


Seller has a stack of over $200,000 in receipts for this restoration.  Exterior completely stripped to metal and repainted to the original color.  Porsche steel used to replace every bot of rust.  Seller sayss not one bit of rust or bondo on the vehicle.


Front seats rebuilt with top grain soft leather and door tops and dash pads were reconditioned along with new period correct carpet.  New Seat belts, dash, and every piece of plastic and rubber replaced with new pieces.  Seller stayed true to original radio delete model.


All wiring harnesses are new – from Kroon.  Original gauages have been reconditioned and updated by North Hollywood Speedometer and seller says it works like new.


You don’t get the meaning of a rotisserie restoration until you see the close-up pictures.  Better than new would probably be an accurate description.
