Seller offering a pristine 1950 Jeep Jeepster with 2,348 miles at auction with the starting bid of $7,500. This is a great example so we will be following up on how the auction goes. Seller, former car dealership owner, is thinning out his car collection accumulated over 50 years. This Jeepster was purchased from a former car salesperson and pride of ownership shows. Midnight Cloud Metallic (black) over red interior is in great shape. Seller says all gauges work, top has recently been replaced, car starts right up, has plenty of power, stops well, and goes down the road extremely well. The former dealership owner doesn’t think you’ll find a finer Jeepster on the market today. We think the pictures speak for themselves.
Nearly 20,000 Jeepsters were produced from 1948-1950. After WWII, Willys produced the CJ (“civilian jeep”), a Jeep Wagon, Jeep Truck, and the Jeepster. The redesigned 1950 Jeepster is distinguished by its grill which has 5 horizontal chrome bars. Two engine options were available a 4-cylinder (VJ-473) and 6-cylinder (VJ-673). This example appears to be one of the only 1,779 V6’s made in 1950. Poor sales due to lack of marketing and distribution led to the the discontinuing of the Jeepster in 1950. This 1950 Willys Jeepster is for sale in Overland Park, Kansas. Check out seller’s listing on eBay for full details, pictures, and contact information.
