Second owner offering this 1984 Mercedes Benz 300 CD Turbodiesel with 122,100 miles for $11,000. We should probably disclose that the gold W-123 coupe was one of our favorite micro machines growing up. Sleek 80’s style with the classic pillarless coupe and factory sunroof – these have a flowing open feel. Having spent most of its life in California, seller says the vehicle is free of rust or any damage – undercarriage looks like new. Meticulously maintained by both owners and serviced by Hafkemeyer motors, seller discloses a slow freon leak in the A/C system and some slight play in the front left arm control bushing.
Gold exterior over tan leather interior, vehicle has original US market lighting and US market bumpers. Factory sunroof appears to be working and interior wood trim appears to be free of peeling, cracking, and crazing. Tan leather looks great – no visible cracking or tearing.
The 300CD is powered by a 3.0L turbodiesel which produces a respectable 125-hp and 181 lb-ft of torque. Post oil crises, the 300 CD was one of the first diesel coupes produced (maybe the first?). These engines are known to be bullet-proof, lasting for 100’s of thousands of miles. This 1984 Mercedes Benz 300CD Turbodiesel is for sale in Kansa City, Missouri.
