Seller offering a 1940 Buick Phaeton with undisclosed miles for $8,000. If this is a Phaeton, this was 1940 was the only model year that a 4-door convertible Phaeton was offered – only 552 were built. Seller says this vehicle is being offered without a title.
Obviously, this is a barn find. Body appears to be complete with a lot of the trim intact. Sloping grill works into front fenders which hold the spare tire. Suicide doors – very good look on a convertible. Probably a safe assumption that the top is gone.
Interior pictures are lite. looks like it’s been used as storage for a while. May need new tires – just a guess.
There is an engine here – not sure if that’s a good thing.
A little inspiration for what this could look like. This 1940 Buick Phaeton is for sale in Independence, Missouri. Check out seller’s full listing on Facebook for full details and contact information.
