Seller offering an all original single owner 1977 Chevrolet Suburban Silverado with the odometer showing 49,750 miles for $18,000. Seller offers only mentions that it includes front and rear A/C and that it has never been driven in the salt or snow. Picture of the emblem indicates this is a K10 1/2 ton version. Since these Suburbans are typically work trucks that accumulate a lot of mileage and wear, we’re curious why this one has such low mileage. This is a unicorn.
1977 represents the 7-generation Suburban. The Silverado trim package is the top-level trim above the Custom Deluxe and Scottsdale. The Silverado would likely include upgraded interior, front and rear heat and A/C, extra insulation, faux wood trim, and exterior trim like the luggage rack and rear wind diffuser. This one includes a rear tailgate instead of barn doors. A close look at the pictures appears to include a 3rd row bench seat.
There’s not much about this truck that we don’t appreciate. We’re hoping this is 4×4 and includes the larger 400 cubic inch V8. We’re also curious what transmission it’s equipped with. The rear view mirrors and receiver hitch in the rear indicates this was likely used for fulling. I picture an equally clean 70’s vintage camper being pulled.
