8/27/18 UPDATE: Seller has put the Bronco on eBay with a $15,000 starting bid (reserve not met). Auction ends 9/1/18 at 4:30 pm. If early model Broncos (’66-’77) are the hot thing – these are next.
7/29/18: Seller offering a 1978 Ford Bronco XLT Ranger with 78,000 miles on its 6-digit odometer for $26,500. Seller says this is an older restoration, but has original paint (big plus), no rust, a lift and 35″ tires. Equipped a 3-speed automatic, 351 V8 and XLT Ranger trim package (top trim level), the interior has a combination of cloth and vinyl, insulated woodgrain door panels, carpeted flooring, passenger dash and glove box, and chrome bumpers and trim.
The 2nd generation Bronco was only produced for two years from 1978-1979. Designed to complete with the Blazer, the new Bronco was built on a full-size truck platform and featured a 351 and 400 ci V*, a Dana 44 front, and either a 4-speed manual or 3-speed automatic. The 2nd generation Bronco was so popular that there was up to a 6-month waiting list when new. Check out seller’s listing on Craigslist for full details and seller’s contact information.
