8/3/2018: Seller offering a Euro version 1982 Porsche 911 Turbo with 88,000 miles on eBay with a buy-it-now price of $91,500. Listing expires on August 7th (Tuesday) at 8:39 am. This “Swartz Grau” (gray/black metallic) over burgundy leather interior example has been garage kept. Includes the 80’s iconic and functional “whale tale” that feeds air into the engine and creates downforce. Seller has put approximately 3,000 miles since purchasing in 2011. Seller says the vehicle is pretty much stock/original apart from a repaint and a few accessories and moderate performance upgrades outlined in the listing. Some of those upgrades include an upgraded shift mechanism, headers, Fabspeed exhaust, Fabspeed intercooler, and stock turbo to a K-27 7200 Borg Warner turbo.
The 930 body style was produced from 1975-1989 and the first 911 Chassis to include a Turbo version. As a result of stricter emissions regulations the 930 was pulled from the US market from 1980-1996. As a result, any 930’s between 1980-1986 is a Euro Spec version that was imported into the United States. Equipped with the original 3.3L engine paired with a 4-speed manual transmission and numerous upgrades seller says this example produces 375 hp (as compared to the stock 296 hp). Top speed when new was 162 mph. This 1982 Porsche 911 Turbo is for sale in Leawood, Kansas. Check out seller’s listing on eBay for more details and contact information.
